Featuring a sleek, glass office tower built atop a renovated 1936 meat-storage facility, the High Line Building is the creation of architect Morris Adjmi, who has skillfully blended the historic and the modern in his innovative design. The building will offer 100,000 square feet of office space, 7,636 square feet of ground-level retail space, and floor-to-ceiling windows with stunning 360-degree views. Built by CB Developers, the High Line Building also boasts LEED Gold accreditation and is one of only two buildings passed through by the former High Line, an elevated train track built in the 1930s. The track is being renovated into a public promenade, providing tenants with direct access to a new, park-like passageway. Set to open this fall, the High Line Building’s tower-to-be successfully juxtaposes energy-efficient elements and original Art Deco details.
