This designation is due in part to the robust recycling and composting program at the hotel that now in its third year, has significantly decreased the hotel’s waste stream.

The City of Riverside honored the dealership for its commitment to clean water practices that include reduced water usage and innovative use of technology to reduce pollutants.

HOLLYWOOD, FL/NEWARK, NJ--The Edison Electric Institute (EEI) has been named Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) recipient of the 2010 Edison Award, the electric utility industry’s highest honor, recognizing outstanding leadership and exceptional contributions to the industry. BARNEGAT, NJ--Making a commitment to build a large-scale project on a site requiring environmental remediation is no easy task in New Jersey, particularly in a slow market. But the Walters Group made good on that promise to Stafford Township. The developer cleaned up two uncapped landfills, which were contaminating groundwater, then built a sustainable mixed-use project that serves as a model for other eco-friendly redevelopments.

NORTHBORO, MA--The new Saint-Gobain R&D center in Northboro has been honored with the company's prestigious "Care:4" environmental award. It was formally opened last year by Governor Deval Patrick and is one of only two buildings throughout the world to attain the rating.
