Ernst & Young LLP appoints Greg Parker as Senior Manager to lead Construction Advisory Services in Northeastern U.S.

Greg ParkerNEW YORK, NY–Ernst & Young LLP announced that Greg Parker, a Senior Manager at the firm, will now lead the firm’s construction advisory practice in the Northeast, reporting to Mark Costello, Ernst & Young LLP, Americas Leader of Construction and Real Estate Advisory Services.

Prior to joining Ernst & Young LLP Parker was president and CEO of UK-based global construction consultant Currie & Brown’s U.S. operations. Parker has more than 20 years experience in construction cost and procurement management, serving clients in markets such as commercial, infrastructure, aviation, technology and pharmaceuticals in the U.S. and the UK. His recent U.S. assignments include auditing construction procedures for a major pharma campus, cost and schedule master planning for a major university construction project and technical due diligence for an offshore investor making major purchases in the commercial real estate market. He also directed a program for the design and implementation of an integrated web-based program/project controls solution for the Water Services Division of a major public authority.

Ernst & Young LLP’s Construction and Real Estate Advisory Services division offers a broad range of services to owner/users, investors and builders of real estate. These services are designed to help clients manage risks surrounding construction projects including traditional cost audits and vendor invoice analysis for cost recovery as well as better positioning owners to avoid cost overruns and unwarranted costs. Among the group’s other major services are occupancy cost reduction for users of real estate and portfolio rationalization for real estate owners and investors.

Parker holds an honors degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading (UK) and an executive MBA from the WP Carey Business School at Arizona State University. He is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
