Bruce Schonbraun advised in some of the biggest deals in the last decade. Now he’s watching the transactional market come back to life, and making some interesting predictions.

Bruce Schonbraun, head of real estate at New York-based FTI Schonbraun McCann Group (SMG), has served as adviser in some of the industry’s most important deals from 2000 to 2010. In 2009, for instance, SMG and FTI advised the unsecured creditors on the Lehman Brothers and General Growth Properties restructurings and bankruptcies. SMG also has either worked on or worked with several high-profile IPOs, including Invesco, Hudson Pacific, Younan Propeties, DLC Management, and others.
